Lauren Ames brings a unique perspective to Voce Communications having spent many years in various sales and marketing positions in the information technology and financial product industries. Lauren specializes in strategic communications, media training, executive profiling, customer reference programs and crisis communications. Her media training skills and her ability to develop powerful messaging strategies have contributed to the success of notable organizations including: Ariba Inc., Compaq Computer Corporation, Oracle, IBM as well as start-ups such as NetObjects, ZoomOn and zap/bcs. Prior to becoming a Voce Strategic Advisor, Lauren was the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Ariba, Inc., where she led worldwide communications efforts including a company repositioning, executive management changes, customer marketing programs and product launches. Previously, Lauren worked for Shandwick International managing corporate, international and analyst relations for Compaq Computer Corporation. Before joining Shandwick, Lauren was at Oracle Corporation, where she drove the corporate public relations and multimedia marketing department activities, with a focus on highlighting Oracle's CEO Larry Ellison, former President Ray Lane and CFO Jeff Henley with various industry influencers and media outlets.
